Photographers who are often inspired by painters from the 1700's are often have a tendency to take those extra five steps away from their subjects, without losing any of the intimacy with them. Most famously is perhaps David Lachapelle, who with the exception of maybe two of his images always show the entire person and in most cases several people in one shot to make it what it is.
Today we'd like to bring you two other artists who work in a somewhat similar fashion. Jeff Wall and Gregory Crewdson.
